QUAD CITIES - A Snow Emergency has been declared for the Quad Cities area. KWQC TV6 reports that a number of cities are preparing in advance for the freezing rain and heavy snow.
In Iowa:
Bellevue, A snow emergency has gone into effect in Bellevue. Drivers are to park on the odd side of the street on Saturday and then on the even side of the street on Sunday.
Clinton, A snow emergency will go into effect at 6 p.m. on Friday and go until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12.
Davenport, A snow emergency has been declared starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 through 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12.
West Liberty, A snow emergency will go into effect at 6 p.m. on Friday and go until Sunday, Jan. 12 at 12 p.m.
In Illinois:
Morrison: A snow emergency is in effect starting Saturday, Jan. 11 at 8 a.m. You can read details on parking at this link.
Rock Falls, A snow emergency will go into effect at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 and go until 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 13.
Rock Island, A snow emergency will go into effect at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10.
Sterling, A snow emergency will go into effect at 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10.
