SPRINGFIELD, Illinois - The Illinois State Police now have a Feline Division. KWQC TV6 reports that DUIE (Driving Under the Influence Enforcement) and his sister, DISPO were seven weeks old when they made Springfield Communications Center home.
The Illinois state Police Facebook page stated Tuesday that the cats are celebrating birthdays at the center.
The cats are cared for by the telecommunications team and are now referred to as therapy cats.
