WARREN COUNTY, Illinois - A former Monmouth coach is accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl.
KWQC TV6 reports 23 year old William Carnes is charged with aggravated criminal sex abuse and two counts of unlawful solicitation of a minor. Investigators say the assault happened last April when the victim was 14.
Carnes is currently out on bond and his next court date is set for February 11th.
Carnes was a golf coach at United Community Schools for less than a month last fall. He resigned a short time later.
