Muscatine Man Found Guilty In Murder Of Grandmother

MUSCATINE COUNTY, Iowa - A verdict was reached Friday in the murder trial of 20 year old Darian Lensgraff of Muscatine. KWQC TV6 reports Lensgraff was found guilty of 1st degree murder in the death of his grandmother, Diana Lensgraff on December 12, 2018.

Evidence presented by investigators at the trial showed that Darian had walked into his grandmother's home and he stabbed several times in the chest and throat.

Darian's defense was he was not guilty by reason of insanity. The jury disagreed.

Darian will be sentenced on Marcy 6th and faces life in prison without parole.
