BETTENDORF, Iowa - Twenty-one cats were rescued from a home in Bettendorf by the Scott County Humane Society.
KWQC TV6 reports the cats were taken from a single family home and they were part of a hording situation. Conditions inside the home were dirty, wet and resources were scarce for the cats and kittens.
Bettendorf Police assisted in the case. A Facebook post showed that all of the cats needed medical care, vaccinations, testing for feline leukemia and more.
