Louisa County Sheriff's Office Reports Impersonating Officer Incident

LOUISA COUNTY, Iowa - There is another case of a person impersonating an officer. A case in Louisa County is similar to a case reported law enforcement in Muscatine.

KWQC TV6 reports that on February 18th, between 9:30 and 10 a.m., a black sedan tried to stop a driver on County Road X17. That is near Columbus City, Iowa.

The driver knew of the impersonation case in Muscatine so did not pull over and the vehicle trying to make the stop took off. This sedan also had red and blue emergency lights flashing while trying to stop the driver.

The Louisa County Sheriff's Office says anyone who experiences a similar incident should give them a call at 319-523-4371.
