Man Wanted On Federal Gun Charges Arrested In Barstow

BARSTOW, Illinois - No one was hurt after the arrest of a man wanted on felony gun charges. KWQC TV6 reports that Ronny Anderson was taken into custody Monday morning.

At 8 a.m. Monday, Moline Police Department detectives and the Special Investigations Group responded to Barstow to serve a federal arrest warrant.

Anderson barricaded himself inside of a house. The Rock Island County Sheriff's Department was also called for assistance along with their Emergency Services Team.

Negotiations took place and Anderson was taken into custody around 10 a.m.
