ILLINOIS, There have been three more deaths in Illinois related from COVID-19 coronavirus. That brings the number of deaths in the state to four.
KWQC TV6 reports a man in his 50's in Will County, a woman in her 80's in Cook County and an out-of-state woman in her 70's was in Sangamon County when she died.
Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike says, "Unfortunately, we do anticipate additional deaths."
There are 422 cases in 22 counties.
On Thursday, Governor J.B. Pritzker said the number of cases reported is rising quickly, partly due to more testing in labs. He says relief is on the way to more than 20,000 small and medium sized bars across the state by allowing a two month delay in sales tax payments to state and local jurisdictions.
Small business low-interest Coronavirus Disaster Assistance loans will also be made available.
