Officials say the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Davenport will be staying open longer than expected.
The recovery center will permanently close on at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 16th. It was originally scheduled to close on October 10 but the date has been extended.
The recovery center moved from Bettendorf to Davenport on Wednesday, September 30th. It is now located at the Annie Wittenmyer Family Aquatic Center at 2828 Eastern Ave in Davenport.
The center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Workers can help you file for assistance from losses due to the recent derecho storm. All services are drive-thru.
