DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The Quad Cities makes the list of the 150 Best Places to Live in America, at number 79.
"Affordability, like many places in the Midwest is a huge plus for the Quad Cities." Devon Thorsby of U.S. News and World Report tells WOC Radio News.
She says the Quad Cities would probably be higher on the list but many people haven't heard of the area.
According to the report, the Quad Cities, Iowa-Illinois (Davenport-Bettendorf, Iowa & Moline-Rock Island, Illinois) is ranked:
#79 in Best Places to Live
#129 in Best Places to Retire
#6 in Cheapest Places to Live
