Due to the continued rise in COVID-19 cases in the area, Jo Daviess County residents are being asked to not come to the courthouse unless absolutely necessary.
The county says the courthouse is open, but county leaders are asking the public to call ahead before coming to the building to protect workers and jail inmates.
