Police have identified a woman who died after being shot Wednesday night in Burlington.
Investigators say 24 year old Riley Degn Smith, of Burlington, died Wednesday after officers were called to the 2200 block of 10th Street for a report of shots fired. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene and a 26-year-old man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital and is still undergoing treatment. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
Officials say an autopsy has been scheduled for Saturday, November 14th.
