(Rock Island, IL) -- A local school board Communications Director says the environment at the District administration offices is toxic and disrespectful.

Redrick Terry makes the accusation in a letter of resignation he sent to the Rock Island-Milan School District board last month.

Terry took the position just a year ago.

District Superintendent Sharon Williams didn't address Terry's accusations in a response to the Times about his resignation.
