Dixon, Illinois Suspected School Shooter Found Unfit To Stand Trial

DIXON, Illinois - The man accused of a shooting at the Dixon, Illinois High School in May of 2018 has again been found unfit to stand trial.

Milby, now 20 years of age, will remain with the Illinois Department of Human Services for treatment.

On May 16, 2018, Dixon Police were called to the school after reports of an active shooter. The school resource officer confronted Milby who then ran. Reports show that the officer and Milby exchanged gunfire and Milby was hit. The officer was unharmed.
