(Davenport, IA) -- A Rock Island man killed in a Monday night hit and run in Davenport has been identified.
KWQX TV6 reports that Davenport Police confirmed that 60 year old Eric Johnson is the man hit by a vehicle near the 1900 block of N. Washington Street and dragged to the 2600 block of N. Fillmore Lane. Police say Johnson was hit just after 7:00 Monday night.
Johnson was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver left the scene of the accident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Davenport Police at 563-326-6125.
