CASI's 43rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Race

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and don your best shades of green because CASI’s 42nd St. Patrick’s Day Race is back! On March 15th, downtown Davenport will transform into a sea of green as thousands of participants gather for this festive 5K event. Organized by the Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI), the St. Patrick’s Day Race has become a beloved tradition in the Quad Cities community, attracting runners of all ages and abilities with the included 1-mile fun run and the crowd favorite “Tot Trot”.

This year, participants can expect an exhilarating race experience filled with Irish-themed entertainment, vibrant costumes, and, of course, plenty of Irish cheer. The race kicks off with the Tot Trot at 9am, the 1 Mile Family Fun Run at 9:30 and the big 5K at 10:00am. All races start in front of The Figge Art Museum on Second Street in downtown Davenport. Runners will follow a fun and flat route through the heart of the city, soaking in the spirited atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or a first-timer looking to join in the fun, CASI’s St. Patrick’s Day Race promises an unforgettable experience for all.

In addition to the race, runners can enjoy post-race festivities at the indoor post-race party featuring live music by QC favorites Funktastic Five, food, and a festive awards ceremony recognizing top finishers and best costumes.
