For the better part of the last 10 years the Catholic Church has criticized the Girl Scouts, saying the organization was too close to groups like Planned parenthood. Now, the Archdiocese of Kansas City is ending its relationship with the Girl Scouts. It will instead support a Christian-based girls' organization.
The church will not change, for better or worse.
