Senator Diane Feinstein revealed that the government spent $900,000 for a hacking tool to break into the locked iPhone of a gunman in the San Bernadino, California, shootings. The FBI has protected the identity of the vendor it paid for the tool. The government paid the money to avoid a fight with Apple over getting into the iPhone.
The government has too much money, and very little common sense when it comes to spending that money.
