Speeding Ticket To Supreme Court

67 year old Marla Leaf says she was wrongly ticketed by an automated camera. She insists she wasn't even speeding. She has taken the fight over the $75 ticket to the Iowa Supreme Court. Her first reason for appeal is that she was doing 50 mph, not 68 mph. Her second reason is that Cedar Rapids gave Gatso USA, the camera company, the power to ticket her. She says that power belongs to the Cedar Rapids police department.

A decision is expected in several months. The Supreme Court has a rigid speed limit for reaching decisions.
