The U.S. Supreme Court agreed to consider the concept of "fair share" union dues. AFSCME and other public unions fear that killing "fair share" dues will lead to government employees dropping out of the unions.
To overturn the "fair share" concept, the Supreme Court would have to overturn a precedent set in 1977. This is going to be a major fight.
