Illinois Gun Laws

Illinois has many gun laws. They do not work.

Six people, including the gunman, died in a shooting in Aurora on Friday afternoon. The shooter was a convicted felon who had been given an Illinois frearm identification card.He used it to buy a gun. The state police later found out he was a felon. They cancelled the card. He kept the gun, and used it to kill five people.

The law says he should not have received the card or kept the gun.

Another law will help.
