The clock is ticking for the newest hire to maybe become the superintendent of Davenport Community Schools. There is as yet no state certification of competence.
Normally, the first thing asked is, "Do you have the proper license?"
Not this time. The assistant temporary school superintendent may still have the job after the August 15th deadline.
