An accident on I-80 near Walcott Monday night claimed the life of a 22 year old Texas man.
A semi driven by 53 year old Daniel Stearman of Davenport had stopped in the left lane of I-80 due to merging traffic due to road construction.
Investigators say a vehicle driven by Colton Drye did not slow down and he hit the semi. Drye died and a 22 year old passenger, Aubree Rosa of California was hurt.
