Scott County Has Absentee Ballots Ready To Go, Davenport's On Hold

SCOTT COUNTY, Iowa - Residents in Scott County that need absentee ballots for the November 5th cit and school elections can now make that request. KWQC TV6 reports that the ballots are now available for all cities except Davenport. Those are delayed due to the recount in the mayoral primary race.

The Scott County Auditor's Office says they will maile the ballots to voters who have made the request by Tuesday, October 15th. Those ballots should be in the mail and residents should be looking for them. Ballots are also available at the Auditor's Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Absentee ballots in Davenport should be available sometime next week. The results of the recount in the mayoral race should be made available sometime on Tuesday.
