Arrest Made In Double Shooting In Morrison

MORRISON, Illinois - A 24 year old man is in custody after a double shooting in Morrison around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Jeramie House was booked on two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of aggravated battery, five counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm and one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

KWQC TV6 reports that several people called 911 Tuesday night to report shots fired at a home on Main Street.

Two residents of the home, a man and a woman, were hit by gunfire. Both were taken to a hospital. The man was later airlifted to a hospital in Rockford and is in critical but stable condition. The woman is listed as stable.

House was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and is being held at the Whiteside County Jail.
