BURLINGTON, Iowa - An arrest has been made in a fire described as Suspicious in Burlington last month. 18 year old Keaton Ryner of Burlington was arrested Thursday and he will be charged with 1st degree arson. Ryner is also being held without bond until his next court appearance.
KWQC TV6 reports that Burlington firefighters found a small fire outside of a home at 1322 Griswold St. on September 5th. The fire was outside of an enclosed porch and it caused about $3,000 in damage. Two people driving by saw the fire and alerted the residents so everyone made it out safely.
At that time officials considered the fire suspicious. That investigation continues.
