MOLINE, Illinois There is little left of an old church located at 10th Street and 5th Avenue in Moline after an early morning fire.
KWQC TV6 reports the fire was called in around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. The building was not structurally sound so fire crews had to attack it from outside. Besides a few hot spots the fire was under control by 7 a.m. Crews say the floors inside the building did collapse.
Police tell TV6 that the building has been vacant for about 10 years. Investigators will be looking into the cause.
There are no reports of injuries.
