QUAD CITIES - The Illinois State Police say this morning's accident on I-74 about three miles east of the Quad City Airport was deadly but would not confirm how many people were killed.
KWQC TV6 reports that one semi heading west lost control around 11:15 a.m. The semi plowed through the median and ended up in the eastbound lanes and rolled onto its side. The truck was blocking both eastbound lanes.
A semi driver heading eastbound was not able to stop and hit the semi. That was followed by a Subaru Sport vehicle.
All the drivers and passengers were taken to a hospital.
