DAVENPORT, Iowa - Four juveniles are on the run after escaping from the Mary Davis Home Detention Center in Galesburg, Illinois. All have ties to the Quad Cities and Davenport.
KWQC TV6 reports the Knox County Sheriff's Office say that five juveniles used force to escape the center. around 9 p.m. Wednesday. They stole a staff member's vehicle.
At 9:30 p.m., the vehicle was found empty near 62nd and Brown Street. Police located one 15 year old boy and he was taken to the Scott County Juvenile Detention Center.
The juveniles that remain on the run are three 15 year old boys and one 15 year old girl. All have prior records that include theft of stolen vehicles and assaults.
