COLONA, Illinois - Illinois State police are investigating a deadly, single vehicle crash Monday morning near Colona.
Officials say a truck was westbound on I-74 when the driver lost control and rolled into a ditch on the ono-ramp. KWQC TV6 reports the driver was alone in the vehicle and died at the scene.
A Life Flight helicopter and several other agencies rushed to the scene to help. This closed the westbound I-74 ramp for about two hours. The name of the driver has not yet been released.
