GALINA, Illinois - A hunting accident takes the life of a 39 year old Scales Mound man. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is investigating the accident that happened on Saturday around 2:45 on Tippett Road near Galina.
KWQC TV6 reports that Brian Busker suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He died at the scene. Busker was with a group of hunters at the time.
The Illinois Conservation Police is leading the investigation.
