The Galesburg K9, Zeus, will be safer when he goes out on calls thanks to the charitable donation of a bullet and stab protective vest.
The donation came from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The vest was sponsored by Nancy Pyron of Huson, Montana and embroidered with the sentiment “Born to Love-Trained to Serve-Loyal Always”.
The mission of Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States. Since its inception, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. has provided over 3,830 U.S. made, custom-fitted, protective vests in 50 states.
