Davenport Police are investigating after being called to the area of 14th and Iowa Street for reports of shots fired Thursday afternoon.
Police say they got the call just after 12:30, but once officers arrived on the scene, there were no victims or damage reported.
DPD says preliminary information described a man on foot, wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans and tennis shoes. The man was reportedly arguing with people in a silver four door sedan near the intersection and then fled the scene on foot while firing shots towards the vehicle.
