One person suffered minor injuries after a train hit the vehicle they were in Friday morning.
Davenport police say officers were called to the scene near Hickory Grove Road and W. Central Park Avenue just after 11:30. Police said the vehicle was occupied by one person, who sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Investigators say the driver struck the lower cross arm on the railroad crossing, came to a stop on the tracks and was then hit by a train on the Iowa Interstate Railroad.
