(Scott County, IA) -- Two people are dead following a head-on crash in Scott County.
The Scott County Sheriff's Department says the crash was reported Tuesday morning on Highway 61 north of Eldridge.
KWQC reports that Sheriff’s deputies told them a northbound van drove across the median and hit a southbound vehicle head-on before hitting a truck. Two people in the southbound vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person in that vehicle was airlifted from the scene.
KWQC says deputies didn’t report on the injuries of the other two drivers involved. The names of those killed have not been released at this time.
