(Davenport, IA) -- A death investigation is underway after a body was found in a vacant Davenport home.
Davenport Police say officers were called to the house in the 300 block of East 9th Street just before 11:00 Wednesday morning. Investigators say they were called to the house after they received reports of an unresponsive person in the residence.
Once on the scene, investigators say crews found the body and determined that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the person's death.
Detectives are currently working to identify the individual and to let their family know.
