(Rock Island, IL) -- One of the largest night roost areas for bald eagles in the country is at risk from a new development.
That's what Rock Island City Council members heard last night from environmentalists as they reviewed initial plans for a cannabis dispensary and truck stop at I-280 and Illinois 92.
The city's community development director says the city shares the same concerns.
He says lighting and landscape design can minimize the impact.
