(Rock Island, IL) -- The family of a man fatally shot by Rock Island Police in January is suing the city.
Bodycam video released by the Rock Island PD shows 21 year-old Jakarta Johnson being shot after he tried to flee a traffic stop, dragging Officer Brett Taylor with his car.
The Illinois State's Attorney found Officer Taylor's use of force was justified, but Jackson's family says they strongly disagree.
The city of Rock Island says it can't comment on the lawsuit.
