Davenport Schools Announce New Student Cellphone Policy

(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport elementary and middle and school students will have no access to their phones during the school day when they return to class Monday.

The District announced that policy yesterday in accordance with a new Iowa law.

High school students will have access to their phones during passing time and lunch.

Disciplinary actions for violation of the policy are on the school district website.
