(Fort Dodge, IA) -- The Iowa State Softball Tournament will remain in Fort Dodge for another 20 years.
The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has signed a contract to keep the tournament at the Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge through 2045. The tournament has been held there for the last 55 years. The city of Fort Dodge has invested six million dollars in a renovation to the park, which will include a new press box, expanded parking, and new field lights.
Rogers Park has hosted the tournament since 1970.
