Bugs, Improper Food Safety Found At Several Quad Cities Restaurants

(Davenport, IA) -- Inspections at several Quad Cities eating establishments have found food safety violations including improper cleaning, hair, and bugs in a beverage dispenser.

Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing staff cited eight QCA restaurants including Treehouse Eatery in Davenport where they found larvae in a soda gun holder.

Mouse droppings were found at Duck City Bistro and The Filling Station in Davenport.

Hair was found in food at Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant.

Davenport Country Club and HyVee on West Kimberly Road were also cited for food safety violations.
