(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Attorneys for the man accused of Iowa's first quadruple homicide is asking for a change of venue.

Luke Truesdell's defense team says he can't get a fair trial in Linn County due to extensive media coverage of the killings.

A prior request for a change of venue was denied in January, but Truesdell's lawyers say the amount of publicity is even worse now.

He's facing four counts of first-degree murder after police say he told them he beat four people to death with a metal pipe last year in rural Linn County.

A hearing date on the change of venue request hasn't been scheduled.
