(Moline, IL) -- 7th Avenue in downtown Moline is open again after nearly eight months of construction.
The $3-million improvement project rebuilt the entire roadway between 15th and 19th Street.
All the traffic lights were removed and roundabouts were added at 15th Street and 18th Street, with intersections at 16th and 17th converted to four-way stops.
The bulk of the funding came from a state grant and gas taxes.
