(Rock Island, IL) -- A Rock Island school board member is under investigation by the Rock Island County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Reports say Tracy Pugh participated in votes to appoint his wife, Yolanda Grandberry-Pugh, as interim dean of Rock Island High School and to award her a settlement for a Human Rights complaint.

Illinois law prohibits spouses from benefiting financially from entities their spouse is involved with.
