(Davenport, IA) -- One person is in critical condition after a residential fire in Davenport Wednesday morning.
Crews from the Davenport Fire Department responded to the scene of the fire a little after 10:15 Wednesday morning and found that a neighbor had gone into the home and extinguished to fire. The neighbor suffered minor injuries. As crews searched the scene, they found a 71 year-old man inside with significant burn injuries.
The man is in critical condition at University of Iowa Health Systems.
