(Undated) -- There’s a car seat recall parents should know about.
Evenflo is recalling 74,000 car seats due to a safety issue. The recall affects All‑4‑One child seats. When used in a rear‑facing position, the seat’s adjustable recline mechanism may shift out of position.
Parents who have this car seat do not need to stop using it.
“A recall doesn’t necessarily mean it’s unsafe. This current recall allows you to continue using the seat while waiting for a replacement at no cost. But it’s important to make sure your car seat is registered, otherwise the manufacturer doesn’t know how to contact you,” said Ashlee Gill.
Gill is a child passenger safety technician at Blank Children’s Hospital.
