(Iowa) -- This year’s RAGBRAI route has officially been unveiled.
The 53rd Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa will be the shortest route in the event’s history and the 10th hilliest on record. Organizers say the ride will span 391‑point‑four miles, with just over 16‑thousand feet of elevation gain.
Cyclists will begin in Onawa, making overnight stops in Harlan, Guthrie Center, Boone, Marshalltown, Independence, and Dyersville, before wrapping up in Dubuque.
RAGBRAI kicks off July 18 and concludes July 25.
