John Deere Recalls Nearly 100 Workers In Iowa

(Iowa) -- A day after being recognized by President Trump, John Deere is announcing 99 of its workers will be returning to work at its Iowa manufacturing plants.

75 of the employees will return to Deere's plant in Davenport, while another 24 workers are being called back to the the company's plant in Dubuque.

Vice President Mark Dickson says the callbacks ensure the company has the skilled teams to support production as demand increases.

President Trump made mentioned John Deere during his stop in Iowa, praising the company's plans to build a new facility in North Carolina.
