(Iowa) -- The Iowa House approves a bill designed to improve access to child care.
House File 25-14 makes children of child care workers eligible for the state's child care assistance program. The bill codifies coverage that's been available to children of child care workers July of 2023 through a pilot program from the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services. House File 25-14 has passed through through the Iowa House and now heads to the Iowa Senate.
