(Iowa) -- Two Iowa counties are reporting new cases of bird flu.

The Iowa Department of Land Stewardship and USDA have reported cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in multi-species backyard flocks in Keokuk and Van Buren Counties. The newly reported cases are the third and fourth detections of bird flu in 2026.
